After suffering a spinal cord stroke in November of 2020, I began looking for ways to improve my balance and flexibility. I discovered Thea’s Aqua Yoga class and I was blown away. She explains each pose thoroughly and there is no judgement if you can’t get a pose right away. As a result of her class, I started seeing Thea for monthly massages. She asks questions about areas you may be having trouble with and she will then personalize your massage to work on those areas. The highlight of my week is knowing I have a massage scheduled. Highly recommend!!!
I have been blessed to do yoga with Thea for many years. I say blessed because I know that my body would not function at the level it does without my yoga classes. Thea’s wisdom that is dispensed during class is helpful for preventing injuries and improving your practice. And very often your headspace for the entire week is improved with her generously sharing some wisdom she has gained during her extensive study. It’s important to find that yoga teacher who can take you from beginner to seasoned yoga practitioner. The path is different for all of us.
